COMMENTS FROM STUDENTS
Regarding oil painting lessons:
“ Of all the teachers I have had no one has been like you.
You are my idea of the perfect instructor. You offer just the
right amount of help, your critiques are gentle and constructive, you are
open to your student's opinions and requests and you allow for their own
personal creativity. What could be better?
I was told that I was given a very high compliment from a
well respected artist. All I can ever tell people is that YOU are
the reason why. I sincerely mean it, too. I will forever
be indebted to you for what you have done for me! Thank you, Lilli, from the
bottom of my heart!!!” Gaye Sekula

COMMENTS FROM COLLECTORS
Dear Ms. Pell,
My wife and I love this painting for your combination of colors, casualness of the flower arrangement and the brilliant viridian vase tying together the bouquet and the whole picture. The impression is freshness and joyfulness of the spring, and the mood is uplifting.
For us, this picture seems to be a perfect gift to our daughter to celebrate the birth of a baby girl on May 1st.
Thank you for the beautiful painting.

Lilli,
The new painting "Warm & Sunny" is enjoying its new location.
Thank you for saving it for me. On the way back to Austin, I
wondered why I did not get excited over it in the studio, but then I
realized that your studio had so many new pieces that I was like a
child in a candy store, my eyes running from one new thing to
another. At home I put the painting on my couch and let the late
afternoon sun play on it. Preparing supper, I would go every five
minutes to check on the painting, and its richness seemed more
wonderful than it ever appeared in the studio. I think it breathes
best in slanted light and does not like full light.

Dear Ms. Pell,
My husband and I are so pleased to have recently purchased your painting entitled “Sheep” …
When I visited the gallery to have another painting framed, I stopped involuntarily and was emotionally drawn to the “Sheep” painting…there was no doubt it had to live at my house….Thank you so much for creating such a treasure.

Dear Lilli,
When I first saw “The Icon” I fell in love with it! I decided to do a time test on it to see if I would forget about it. Well, I’ve never forgotten about it since I saw it that first day! It also holds special meaning because my father loved ranching and raising cattle and he loved longhorns…..
Just wanted you to know that I picked up "The Icon" today from the Price Center. I hung it this evening and it is absolutely beautiful! Every time I look at it, it takes my breath away! Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Lee Festervan
Judy K’s sister, Gail, surprised her with a painting called “Romantic Rose” for Christmas.
Dear Lillie:
I suspect you know what my Christmas present was this year, and was I
thrilled. It's as beautiful as I remember. Gail really shocked
me! Anyway, it is hanging on the living room wall and I get to look at it every day.
Just wanted you to know that I still love it, and you are superbly talented!
Best wishes and hoping that your Christmas was wonderful and New Year is even better,
Judy Kellersberger.
